Sharp has opened a new flagship office in the South Central building in Leeds, which now serves as its UK headquarters, the company announced on 13 October 2026.
The 10,200 sq ft office is home to nearly 100 of Sharp UK’s more than 700 employees and is one of 14 Sharp locations in the UK. The company said it has designed the space as a living showroom where clients and partners can see its technology working in a real office.
What is in the building
Sharp listed a 195-inch dvLED installation, meeting room technology, its latest print devices, a video wall and digital displays, a Hiperwall command-and-control installation, and desk, meeting room and visitor management systems.
The office was fitted out with the commercial interior design firm Design Tonic, working with Sharp’s own workplace design, print and audio visual teams. The company said the project let it demonstrate the same workplace services it sells to other organisations: IT services, business applications, managed print, audio visual and display technologies, and workplace design.
Stuart Sykes, chief executive of Sharp UK, said: “Rather than telling organisations what a modern workplace can look like, we can now show them.”
Donna Carrick, Sharp UK’s chief people and transformation officer, said the company looks forward to welcoming new colleagues and building local partnerships in the city.
Sharp UK is part of Sharp Corporation, which the company says employs more than 34,000 people worldwide. Hilary Benn, MP for Leeds South, called the opening “a strong vote of confidence in our city, its talented workforce, and its thriving business community”.
