Story tips
Working on something we should know about, a company result, a funding round, a deal, a commercial-property move, an opening or closure, or a senior hire in Leeds? Write to editor@leedsbusinessnews.co.uk.
Documents, filings and correspondence are welcome. If you would rather we did not use your name, say so in your message and we will not publish it.
Photo credits and takedown
Where a story carries a photograph, the credit is printed beneath it. If you own a photo and want it credited differently or removed, email editor@leedsbusinessnews.co.uk and we will act within a working day.
Where a story has no photograph of its own, it carries the site's skyline artwork instead. We do not use stock photographs or AI-generated images, so please send real photography with your news.
Corrections
If we have published something inaccurate, write to editor@leedsbusinessnews.co.uk and tell us what is wrong. We will check it against the source, correct it, and note on the article that it was corrected and when. We do not make changes silently.
Press releases and announcements
Send announcements to editor@leedsbusinessnews.co.uk. We cover Leeds companies, finance and professional services, commercial property, tech and startups, hospitality and retail, and people moves. Sending us a release is free.
To give a release the best chance of becoming a story, please include:
- a date, and whether it is embargoed;
- a named contact who can actually be reached;
- the figures, parties and location where relevant, or a link to the filing or announcement;
- photographs you are able to license to us, with a credit line.
We always go back to the primary source where there is one, so a release that points us straight at it is far more useful than one that does not. We cannot guarantee coverage, and we do not publish releases word for word.
Reports, research and briefings
We are happy to consider reports, surveys and research under embargo, and to take briefings. We do not agree to copy approval, we do not send questions or lines in advance, and being briefed does not commit us to covering something or to covering it favourably. Any hospitality or access we accept is disclosed in the piece where it is relevant.
Advertising
For advertising and sponsorship, see our advertising page or write to advertising@leedsbusinessnews.co.uk. Advertising has no influence on what we cover, and any sponsored material we carry is labelled as such.
